John was a very special,much loved and treasured Father and Grandfather.He was also a very giving and dear friend to many during his 85 years of life. Sadly he died on August 1st 2010 and his ashes were scattered in the sea by the East Coast of Scotland. John would be very proud to have a tribute page on the RNLI.He spent many years in the Merchant Navy,he loved everything to do with shipping and boats.He spent many happy times visiting harbours and walking by the sea with the family dogs.Aswell as his other passion-driving vintage bentleys. Carried always in the hearts of his family. The most loved and cherished "Pa" in the world.
